because my tires stick out too far. :rolleyes: so basically i have to get my truck re-inspected and have the shop sign off this ticket and they send it back. i work up north in a small town w/ a population of like 30, so i know hes gonna keep an eye out for me…so what should i do get new rims, w/ less of an offset? or just chance it and hope i dont get pulled over again.
just get some fender flares

because it’s the law. There are a lot of things that don’t make any sense, but it is what it is.

go with 17 inch wheels that are the proper offset. I have a set that I want to get rid of. They can be had for cheap
nothing better than driving down a road and having rocks being spit at our brand new paint job in the rain. Flare them up…the front and rears have to have a certain percantage of flaring per wheel. The percentages are different from front to back. The stock flares aren’t going to cut it…i think the rear is like 60% or so.
this is why i still got the stock zr2 rims…
i want some type of rim that looks better then a flush fwd looking rim… but i have yet to find anything close to the stock offset that still looks good!
