95 DOHC going in. Not sure if I will be running it with the standalone engine management or not. Depends if I have enough time to re-wire the car. Too much other stuff on the ajenda, motor I usually worry about in April.
i saw a blue s13 hatch with a side exhaust (two pipes or something) and it had a ‘v8 hood’ but stock rims and tires LOL so I doubt it had a v8 underneath, it actually said V8 on the side of the hood (huge camaro/89/90s mustang GT cobra style hood)
This is way off topic but I noticed andrew you mentioned a Kaaz 1.5 way.
Am I the only one who didn’t know until yesterday that the diff oil needs to get changed on a clutch type diff (ie: Kaaz, Nismo, etc) every 8000 kilometers or less?
Apparently Kaaz recommends 8000klm for street driving and 3-5k for track
… and to think I almost bought a Kaaz when I did a group buy a while back… SCREW THAT
But still, having to change the diff oil 5 or 6 times per season or more for some people does not sound like a good time. I’m way too lazy to be dealing with something like that
Thats actually worse for it then letting it sit. As with my bike, I’d recommend filling the tank and putting in fuel stabilizer, driving it to get the stabilizer into the lines, then run it only if you need to move it.
Andrew that zorst gave me the sex wee 8) And the 'ol DOHC will live on!
Got some more work done. Cars back on 4 wheels after putting subframe bushings in, which was a big pain in the ass. Cars has all bits needed to drop DOHC in, just swaping a new front cover on the motor.
