So occupy Buffalo...

Well put. I think America is so entitled that they assume nothing bad can happen and that’s when the shit usually hits the fan. The key theory seems to be that we “innovate” ways to automate tasks and do more with less so we’re immune to reality. LOL

it’s good that police and cities are being very mindful and delicate with the protests right now, it will help keep things civil for the time being… however, the protests will likely swell over the next several weeks and when the ill-intentioned start to amass in significant numbers it’ll just be a matter of time for a rodney king type moment.

violence broke out in Italy today… tens of thousands marched… awesome.

WOW. Getting wild. I think I was hyper critical of the movement. I don’t think you can open up with pinpoint precision on the goals because you won’t garner broad interest. The way they started and made everyone feel they had a voice is crucial to getting people hooked and interested. This may actually heat up here. Eagerly awaiting my fashionably late arrival. LOL

It’s fun to be reading atlas shrugged the same time this is going down. This shit is straight out of the book: A plea disguised as a threat. Charity being demanded.

I wonder what would really happen if, say, the executives of the top 50 on the fortune 500 list quit one day.

All of them? A lot of people would get pushed up the corporate ladder in a hurry, there would be some growing pains, then pretty much more of the same. From my experience with these executives, other than a select handful like the Warren Buffetts, (who supports the movement) they really don’t have any exceptional talent other than networking, covincing people that they should be given exceptional opportunities, and experience. They still spell shit wrong, most of them suck with computers, and I’d say if you put a room full of similarly dressed corporate employees, from entry-level on up to executives, you’d be hard-pressed to pick them out other than age.

it’s easier for Warren, George and Bill to take their positions where there is nothing more to aspire towards.
