Ya, I`m still looking into it.
But i did come across this thread…
http://ka-t.org/ipw-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=698
Jordan Gladman built up a VERY budget turbo system for a VERY high millage 240sx. He did end up blowing the engine, but he expected that…
260+kms, 10 lbs of boost for 2 month. NO INTERNALS, NO fuel management.
I`m thinking of doing this…then rebuilding after she goes, and doing it right…and whos to say @ 7-8 psi, it *could hold out indefinatly…or till im bored.
Adam, what would it cost for you to do some rebuilding?
do it right the first time so you don’t have to do it again. Don’t half ass things.
People think this is a budget project. Only if you can fab everything yourself it is. Don’t get into the false sense that this is cheap.
Andrew.

 Finaly someone who realizes that a KA-T is not always the cheapest way to go! =D> … I have been saying that for a long time but for some reason no one listens, Thank you Andrew! Do me a favour and repeat that sentence one more time!
Yeah but for the same money as an SR swap, you have a ka-t with all new parts and more power.
reliability… isnt the sr20 more reliable than the ka???

I see a turn to SR and KA debate.
For all those that are going to start it I will make it simple.

the sr is like silk vs the KAT…but the KAT is just brute torque…and that my friend is what hauls you out of the hole and corners…
