it takes maybe half day to rewire, Frank.
i’d say before you go ripping your car apart to check your grounds…sometimes your connections get dirty or corroded or if you have a big draw on your system (the subs/amps) the stock grounding may not be big enough to carry the load back to youre battery…have you upgraded your grounds when you first installed your system???..
what about a bad power cable?
It sounds more like this, since you said the shit about being stopped, idling. Run a new fused constant power (from your ignition harness) and ground.
nope. def should do that anyways. whats a good grounding kit that i should get? i was just confused since im only running 4 polk speakers right now, why that would over load it. dont think they should be pulling too much power.
lol, word. anyone feel like helpin me out.
stock up on wires and connectors and we can bang this out real fast
stock wire in a vehicle is only designed to handed whatever came in the vehicle stock…anything over that amount can overload it…imagine this your house was built last yr and you decide you want a welder and a hot tub…that can overload your panel…just sayin is all…imagine your vehicle runs a little hotter than normal your grounds heat up and you lose the carrying capacity of your grounds…
Its probably a bad connection/ wire.
you don’t need speakers anyways, it’s a 240
the sound of clanking, scraping, and ticking should be your music
You can fix it by swapping an sr20det into your car.
so very true
