Well i just got my first speeding ticket 81in a 60, yes i was compleatly in the wrong and i have no intention of fighting it (paying it tom) … please dont make dumb ass comments
as for my questions, seen as this is my first ticket do i get demrits off, and if i do will this skyrocket my insurance rate???

I believe you will have 1 demerit on your record if this was your first offence. If you do not want it on, go ask for a lessor sentence…it always works!

Bryce, before you pay the ticket outright, ask to speak to the crown prosecutor. Tell him that you’re guilty and don’t want to fight the ticket, but ask them to drop all the demerits in exchange for paying the full fine. This is called “pleading to a lesser charge”, is commonplace, and can save you a bunch of money on your car insurance without switching to GEICO. 
Seriously though, it works…I’ve done it myself. Most insurance companies will give you a “freebie” ticket before they jack your rates, as long as you don’t get a ticket for street racing/dangerous driving and so on.
