STARTINGGG HELPPP

hey i was just wondering… it seems that my car doesn’t start up very fast… its’ usually on the 2nd turn over… … what can help me fix this? … … i’mma try to replace the distributor, sparkplug wires and battery… will this solve my problem? i just got a new starter … oh yea and im’ma put in a new fuel filter… because i think it has 2 do with that 2 … thanks for your input guyz

its colder weather now. Starting is harder. Just keep the key turned, it will start eventually if u want it to start on one turn. I wouldn’t worry bout it man. But doing all u said can’t do any harm. Tune ups are always good :)Oh, why replace the distributor??? I hope u mean rotor and cap. No need to change the battery unless its busted.

oh okay thanks alot… well i’mma put 5w30 next time i change my oil… and i’mma have 2 winter prep it… what’s a good choice when it comes to underbody coating and winter tires?.. and i’m also gonna invest in a block heater prob by mid nov. how long should (km’s) before i change my sparkplug wires and rotor n distributor cap?

oh yea i forgot to add… … the jackpoints are rusting… what can i do to fix this? or how much do you think it would cost me? that’s about it… the chassis is perfect … just those damn… jack points… where can i jack it where it won’t damage the body?

for jacking, jack on suspension mounts at the back. At the front i jack on the frame rails. Mine are ok. You could jack on suspension member on the front, but its ackward. Nothing really to jack on, so only choice is frame at the front and stands under the front suspension member. For ur oil change, if u dun wanna risk the frame, just get some ramps. Thaty’ll do for an oil change, and those are safer too  As for rust proofing, i can refer u to a place. They do full untercoat and such for 100 bucks. As for those jack points on ur frame, they hafta build a brace and weld over them so they are re-enforced. I got bout a foot of my front frame rail dun for 600. But i can be had for cheaper. Prob 300 er so for a little piece of the frame. As for spark plugs, rotor, and wires. If u can’t remeber changing them, change them. You should do a full tuneup once a year or i believe every 20,000km. Oil changes ever 3K if ur like me.

Hope that helps

k thanks alot eh’… so where did u get ur undercoat done? i think i’mma get that done this weekend
