from about 100-125km/h my steering wheel shakes. any idea what it might be? i had an alignment done a month or so ago. could it be a bushing possibly?
Sounds more like a wheel imbalance. Check the insides of your rims to see if there is any mud/debris stuck on the inside, as this can unbalance the wheel and lead to shaking.
^What Pyrexxx said. Check for anything sticking to the tire/rim inside and out and if the problem persists get a wheel balancing.

i just got my new rims and rubber put on last night, ill see how it is when i get on the highway…
I had a very similiar thing happen on my last car (an acura integra) and it turned out to be the axles. I realize its FWD and might behave differently when worn. However I was told that when the inside knuckles wear out it causes this kind of shaking at high speeds and under acceleration.
If you just put the wheels on, I can pretty much gaurantee its the balance.
