storing for winter

Alright so in the next couple months I plan on storing my ride to protect it from the canadian winter, but how would I go about this? I mean do I just park it in my storage space and leave it or should I do anything to the car before locking it in?

some people put fuel additive in the gas tank when they store the car…
some guys jack up the car and let it sit on jack stands so the shocks aren’t always compressed…

what I did last year: I bought a car cover, put my stock wheels back on and let the car just sit there for 5 months. I also had a full tank of gas and also had my battery disconnected…

When I brought it out, it startered right up w/o any problems… I also found out that I have no oil leaks anywhere, which is awesome

please search this topic as it comes up EVERY year.

i think we may end up writing something for the faq.

but for the time being
