STRANDED! Help diagnose

I’m at the car wash and my jeep won’t start. This happened last week and I replaced the terminal end and it was fine. When I turn the key on I have all of my lights and they aren’t dim, when I turn to the on position nothing happens, it doesn’t click buzz or anything

help! And sorry if it’s hard to read I’m posting from my phone

Smack the starter. It might be stuck.

Tried that got nothing

do you have a screw driver?..jump the starter.

call AAA.

Does the fuel pump prime? No right, you said there was no buzzing… check fuses, under hood, the main ones. Did something get wet?

I have a basic tool kit I’ll try that now h/o

hold onto the steel part of the screw driver while doing so.

lol your such a dick

Omg I love you haha it worked…does that mean a bad solenoid?

most likely, had that same problem with my old Cherokee I had, the whole starter could be shot or it could be as simple as a loose wire.

ill put my money on a dumpy old starter. if you arc’d the solenoid and it started 9 times out of 10 its the solenoid.

:rofl

+rep…:number1

except for the fact that not EVERYONE has AAA…:thumbup

itd be stupid not to have AAA

well if there is another nice day this week ill get under there and check all the connections cause it works sometimes and after i got home it started 10x fine so idk what the prob is. its prob the negative ground straps thats a common problem. the last thing i want to do is replace the starter haha

thanks for the help to the people that could actually be mature and help me and keep this thread on track

silence pup. your thread goes to the trash bin right meow.

:lol

Get your starter rebuilt, probably not the ground strap.

buy new starter , they are cheaper to buy new than to rebuild
