Na, I have meet the guy with the car,
the Hanabis are still on it and he lives in West GTA
double true
Pavel had no sound deadning inside his car, nor did he have rust.
I suggest you take the $500 you get from insurance, invest it, and hope that you’ll have enough to buy a rustless car. The car as it sits right now IMHO is a write-off, partially due to the rust issue.
Good luck
there not that much rust on my car… is there? its better than most of the 240’s out there. anyways im going to get a quote to fix it tomorrow, i’ll keep you posted on my situation.
got the repairs quoted today, and its going to be over 8g’s to fix her, so shes toast. fucking sucks! now i got to wait to see what the insurance will gimme.
Never take the first offer, look at autotrader and try to find something comprable, this is what the broker will do, and this is where he’ll likely try to find a value, this and the market books.
Book Valve on a 1992 S13 Hatchbank is $1200
I know this because my broker told me if I write off my car all I’m getting is $1200 so I should have it appraised and insurance based on that value instead of book value (which equals alot more money)
$1200! for a 92? shit my 89 will be a worth less than that, god damn it im so pissed off, im going to go kill some kittens or something.
godd damm crown vic, dude what ever u do dont agree with the insurance to write it off, they will 100% want to, fight them till the end, as bing said tell them to find u another coupe  they will have fun with that! lolz , or make them fix it, dont let the insurance screw u over, they tried the same shit with my friends 91 hb 240, he got a lawer and stuff, he was about to sue the insurance company, after some negoitions ( 6 months down the line) they replaced his car with a 93 coupe, all he had to do was pay about $700 or something, bad was it was auto oh well
but this is my 2 cents sorry about ur loss
Im bringing this post back from the dead for 3 reasons:
-
i accidently found in on goodle searching for a picture of a “metalic lavender frost” colored car.
-
i never acctually concluded my insurance story.
-
Im bored.
So after many phone calls and lots of waiting the insurance company finely gived me a number. $3200… i like that number. this just goes to prove that sometimes if your really realy lucky. the insurance company will give you six and a half times what your car was worth. i didnt end uop buying the car back from the company because dad said we dont have room. i regert this everyday but oh well. so all in all it wasnt that bad. i traded a beat up coupe for a mint hatch so i cant complain.
mmmmm metalic lavender frost…
congrats on the insurance money, looks like it turned out for the better, how much did your rate go up?
none, i wasnt at fault.
yeah, dont settle for anything less than way too much.
