Stuttering under boost

I just finnished putting my motor in my car along with a different turbo setup…its a t3/t4 with z32 maf and 550cc sti injectors…i got my ECU chipped and the car was running good expet for a heater hose that kept coming loose…but anyways at about 3 to 4,300 rpm’s the car stutters and boggs out…then once i hit boost and get at about 5 thou it will rev freely…could running too rich cause this?..theres a bit of smoke from the exhaust but its more clearish grey not blue or white

Did you lube up the injectors when you put them in?

last time i had that same issue my wideband was reading 16s …when it bogged and poped, be carefull not to lean out here. could be ur fpr regulator giving out or a bad inj.

When rom was reburned for larger ing and maf did the tp get rescaled and map’s were re-mapped based on how new turbo spools up vs the old one?
what ecu is it?and if you have wideband are you going lean or filthy rich during the spatter?

Last thing that comes to mind now that you got t3/4 did u gap down ur plugs?

Yes i lubed the injectors up before putting them in…the car ran fine for about half hour of driing when this all happend…its a s13 redtop ecu and im running a s13 blacktop right now…the chip i got had 2 settings…one was a friend of mines tune…which is the same setup and the other was a tune with same injectors and maf and a gt28rs…so my friends tune was with the switch up other tune with the switch down…now the switch beside it when turned down made the car run like crap…barely idle wouldnt go over 2k rpm…and i drove it like this for maybe 8 minutes back to my house then noticed the switch got flipped form someone’s foot in the car (ecu was kinda laying in the passenger side on the floor) so i noticed it and flipped it back up…the idle’d good and ran better then before but would still studder at about 3-4 thou rpm…and if an injector were to crap out…wouldnt it make it idle like crap too and barely rev up at all?

Also i forgot to mention im not running a wideband atm…and my o2 sensor wires are like crimped together because the plug got melted off a while back lol

Ok so i unplugged the battery to see if it owuld reset the ECU and i dont get the studdering i did at 3-4k rpm…now when im really light on the throttle and go to step on it it will studder and bog a bit then decide to go…the tune was set for 12psi and im running 10…could that affect anything?..i just tihnk its running reaaaal rich ATM and i need to correct it…any more ideas guys?
