painted the tank front fender and tail plastics there’s a metallic in the black that you really cant see in the pic but it looks amazing when the sun hits it

dont wetsand between base and clear! There is no need, unless you somehow totally fucked up the base. Especially metallics. you will just cut some of the flakes and grey them out. Also you kind of want some of the flakes to stand on edge (last high pressure fast movement dust coats), so when you clear it it give more depth and reflection for more pop.
But always base, flash over usually like 15-30 mins after it flashes over you can go right to clear for good intercoat lockin.
