Take that 2JZ.

what ? i never said they didnt find the limit. i said they are going to soon find the limit of that BMW block as you said its non cemented. i already know the limits of a stock GTE block. you’re an idiot.

[quote=Mk4 30R ]
street cars dont have cemented blocks. and they will find the limits of this block very soon. and engine dyno cant provide real world stress the engine will see, there are no expansion joints or pot holes, the conditions are perfect in the cell…

misread it asshole

ill BREAK YOUR JAW :hug

whats this “cementing”?

filling the coolant passages on the bottom of the block, or all the way up to increase the ridgidity of the block

this is much better than the motor getting dynoed

benny you can’t win this argument, lets assuming this motor makes 1300Whp, there are many supras running around with that much power. look at ryan woon, 1500whp, with a stock supra gearbox. its not just the motor that makes it the ideal import race car. its the drivetrain, the long wheel base, the stout engine, etc.

SW/boostlogics 241.8 mph Texas mile record holder… stock supra V160, stock TT gears with a TRD diff. 241 mph in 5th gear.

In the Honda world, cementing is also known as “budget sleeving” :lol

Strictly referring to the 2jz vs. euro s50 or even the s54, I mean shit, HPF made 900whp on a 67mm turbo in the s54 on less than 30psi…the heads are more efficient, that’s all I’m saying, absolutely the supra is an absolutely phenomenal car, no argument there, but the flow bench doesn’t lie :nod

and a k20 head flows better than that, what the fuck does that have to do with the price of tea in china. flow benches may not lie, but they they are just a number on a piece of paper, lets see this thing perform and last at the track.

Indeed. While BMW S heads do have more flow potential, it’s just a component to the mix. An engines natural VE goes right out the window once forced induction is thrown into the mix…

I might have a few race components under wraps for said M52 engine that should make a few extra ponies. Nothing you’ll see until it’s released and in action on the tracks, as with all my custom bits

:sad

:excited

Why are you getting so defensive lol, someone posted a vid of it ‘performing’ already, do you really want me to post videos of FI BMW’s drag racing? I honestly don’t care, the Supra has proven itself time and time again, main reason being is the FnF craze really launched the platform into a huge aftermarket, this thread was not meant to be an argument, but there’s not many oem blocks able to take that kind of abuse/power, is it really that difficult for you guys to acknowledge another motor’s existence? :rofl

oh god, u are way to young if you think the fnf has anything to do with 1000whp supras, all the fnf did for supras was sell a bunch of bomex body kits/trd hoods and apr aluminum wings.

and increase the market cost of them.
side note
i love 2JZ powered BMW’s

hell yeah, you can get the same power building a M50 variant as you could just swapping in a 2jz and going big single on the stock block, it’s not like you’d be tuning with the dme anyway so you could just do a stand alone/simple harness.

i think the price would of went up either way. fnf just made it happen sooner.

besides the tt supra was way out of the price range for most if not all of the fnf fanboys…

sales of nitrous kits did however skyrocket the day after fnf :lol

just learned that 1507bhp run was on 50psi. :rofl
