these guys are from my home town in pa(5 minutes from the manheim auto auction, the largest auto auction in the world)
they will def. be able to help you. and if i remember correctly they are pretty good about markup(like under 500 beanios for finders fee or whatever)
if they get a nonGT through auction it will be around 17-18K$ so add 500 for the finders fee.

Took the SI out for a test drive.
I was not happy…Interior is nice but the lay out was odd.
Doors seemed to go to far forward and the dash was huge.
Power is smooth but forever to get to.
Vtec sounds cool :shrug:
So what did I do.
Went to a mazda dealer and took a different Mazdaspeed3 out.
Didn’t have a flappy drivetrain and iffy 2nd gear. (The one I drove must have had a bad motor mount)
And I didn’t just beat the ever loving piss out of it for ten mins and take it back like last time.
but I drove it for a considerable amount of time, mostly because I was much happier driving it this time and I really love the damn thing.
I have driven everything in that price range that I can buy new and I think it might be the ticket…

I actually just spent a ton of time beating the ever living fuck out of a Mini S. With a pulley and suspension it’d be unstoppable, minus the cartoon interior (I TOTALLY agree).
I’ve also tracked a DSG GTI with a chip, was damn fun, I keep thinking about selling stuff and getting an A3 as a daily.
I’ll admit the MS3 is a fun little car, but not something I’d ever own.

I actually like the supercharged one more than the turbo
A3. Would be nice but not worth the price.
my dad has one that car is a nice car got a crap load of turbo leg.
I wish the mini S didn’t hold its value so well so i could add it to my list of vehicle prospects in the spring.

+1 my co-worker has a Mini Cooper S with aftermarket supercharger and man that thing is fun to drive.

White a darker gray are going to be available in the summer of '08 on the Speed 3.
also:
Everything that was once a Dark Gray trim is now being replaced with Piano Black in the interior.
All CD players are now MP3 compatible.
Black alcantara seat inserts instead of the silver cloth.
Performance = same… not a problem, still the best in class
