well, at least he answered the age old nyspeed question
wait for it
wait for it
would you nail dawn?
[/quote]
Holy shit i Lol’d at work, But +1 on a personal injury lawyer this is the kind of case that they drool over.
dawn will you be my sugar momma in 4 months?
Sue the pants, shirt, house, and anything else out off this guy. He has no business getting away with anything like this.
GLAD YOUR OK
sounds like something youd see in a movie!
how fast was he going when he hit you? i’ve been in multiple big accidents, where cars have been totaled… never had any back, neck, etc pains… damn sue happy people… …
admit it, you guys were all talking shit back and forth, he was just the one with the bigger domestic powah!
so what did you do to provoke him… this is one of those threads that i would want to hear the other side of the story… not that hes in the right, but who does that for no reason?
GO TO THE HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY
you need documentation of your injuries, and you need them now.

This is one of the few times I think suing is the right idea. Mostly because the lazy cops only gave the guy a couple traffic violations and he deserves to get much more punishment than that.
As Locutus said though, it’s all assuming the one sided version we’re hearing is 100% accurate.
That is the beauty of the legal system though. It is almost to the point where the verbal communication between both is just a minor detail now. The only thing that matters is what you can prove in a court room, and in this case Dawn has this locked up if she chooses to pursue a settlement. Even if this was a “provoked” situation, no verbal communication will be acceptable as an excuse for using a vehicle to hit another, let alone hit another into on coming traffic.
^^^^^exactly… he said she said is irrelevant when there is a witness saying he intentionally drove into her…you will have a brand new car in a short time plus compensation for your pain and suffering…glad to her you are ok though…I’d say if you are sore now you are gonna hurt like hell tomorrow
^^^ I can’t tell because the picture is so small, but do you actually have the gay cowboy movie poster as your avatar?

+1 Exactly what I was thinking.

Yeah, it would be neat to hear from him, but…thats kinda like saying “lets not get mad at the husband for killing his wife, maybe she was cheating on him”. It doesn’t make it right at all. In this case, no matter what the provoking was, the act of causing an accident and then driving off is 100% inexcusable, no matter WHAT provoked him.
I am glad you are OK Dawn,

i don’t think anyone in their right mind would PURPOSELY smash into someone - the issues it causes (insurance, legal, damages) far outweigh any satisfaction you could get out of it. now of course the person might not have been in the right mind… but still.
i’m sure there was bullshitting back and forth, both parties driving stupidly, and trying to get in front of each other or cut each other off. could dawn have cut the guy off trying to get to her turn, and he hit the brakes but ended up slamming into her? of course possible… and of course she’s gonna tell her side only.
again, he may have just been nuts and or stupid… but i’ve never seen anyone brutally bash into someone’s car on purpose.
Oh, I’m not saying it’s acceptable, I’m saying it takes more than moving over into someone’s lane to get run off the road. If that was the case, I would be dead many times over.

if it happened where i think it did this is most likely the case it happens all the time where someone who dosnt know goes in the turning lane and goes straight cutting off the person who is in the correct lane ive been cut off as well

I did. It was 2 years ago on rt 5 going towards Lakeview. I was in the right hand lane and an older lady was in the left. We were both going about teh same speed and a red truck was right up her ass, to the point where he was almost pushing her along. We got the red light where old lake shore starts. The lady in the left got ahead of me and got over, the guy in the red truck got over with her and was STILL riding her ass hard. All of the sudden he gets in the left hand lane and starts to run her off the road. He was cutting the wheel so hard that I thought he was going to lose control of his truck. It was right out of a movie and I almost shit my pants watching this unfold.
People are crazy, some just snap for the smallest things.
