Got advanced screening tickets. A 3 is generous. Seriously, don’t see this movie. I’d rather have my testicles sliced off with a jagged meat cleaver than watch this movie again.

Django - 6/10 Why does Tarantino have to make the middle of his movies so slow and drawn out? If he made 1.5 hour movies they’d be way better. Candie and The Dentist were PERFECT casting choices but I think you could have plugged just about anyone in to be Django.
A Good Day to Die Hard - 2/10 I seriously cried a little inside over what they have done to my beloved Die Hard franchise with this movie.
Warm Bodies - 3/10 Way too much Twilight, no where near enough zombies or jokes.
Last Stand - 6/10 I expected this to suck but it wasn’t bad for a cheesy Arnold action flick (mostly cheesy because Arnold is old enough to be a grandpa).
Snitch - 6/10
Silver Linings Playbook - 8/10 Not what I expected at all.
Movie 43 - 1/10 Just terrible
Jack Reacher - 7/10 Also not what I expected at all. Much more a crime drama than action movie.
Death Race 2000 - 10/10 Yeah, it’s a 10 for it’s absolute ridiculousness, from cheesy violence, to gratuitous 70’s nudity to the fact that Hunger Games basically stole the entire plot of this movie.
My gf is trying to get me to watch silver linings playbook…totally looked like a chick flick, but upon inspection, it doesn’t look bad. Also, Jennifer Lawrence is hot :tup:
silver linings playbook - 7/10. Was definitely a bit deeper than a chick flick. I liked it. Not what I was expecting.
Life of Pi - 8/10. Seriously great movie. Not AT ALL what I was expecting. Seriously deserves the the acclaim it received.
Django Unchained - 8/10. Really Liked it. Casting was great. Story was good, maybe a little bit dragged out, but the content was fairly good. I just loved all the dialogue, typically Tarantino gore.
JayS, I’m surprised by your dislike for Django. I loved it.
I saw Life of Pi and also really enjoyed it. My gf fell asleep, but I don’t think she really liked it anyways.
Not a chick flick at all, probably one of the best films of 2012 imo. Jennifer Lawrence is going to be huuuggggggeeee. Shes actually probably my first ever celeb crush lol.
Django 9/10 - Tarantinos best flick since Pulp imo, Leo Killed it as always, it offers so much of everything if youre cool with the run time.
Gatsby 6.5/10 - Leo showed yet another new character he could play, also killed it, but after the first teenage money making hour I just lost interest.
Moonrise Kingdom 9/10 - Probably my new favorite Wes Anderson film now, but like all his movies, took me watching it twice to fully appreciate it. Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Bill Murry… whats not love. Its so cool because I feel like its the type of movie you could watch with your grandparents or your young kids and everyone will love it all the same. I feel like its gotta be so hard to make a feel-good darker film but I thought they nailed it here.
Watched it with the wife. The beginning and plot was kinda meh and predicatable, towards the end it got better, ending was well done. Also Jennifer Lawerence kept my attention the entire time, gorgeous, her boobs were di-no-myte.
I did enjoy it, I just think it would have been a lot better with a run time of 1:30 to 1:50.
Jennifer Lawrence’s ass in some of her dance outfits probably would have made that movie watchable even if there was no dialog.
