Latest Sandler movie. Not a comedy at all. I enjoyed it. I’d watch it again. 8/10 but I’m probably bias because I like Sandler as a person.
Reminds me of click (the lesson is not to take things for granted) but much darker.

I thought Ricky Stinicky was funny enough to tell others about.
Poor (rich) John Cena and his one man band…
The Big Short. Another flick about to 08 financial collpase. Another good one to watch is Margin Call.
Both prove to me that humans cannot stop fucking each other over. The tools of the game have just evolved.
I posted this in the Coming Apocalypse thread, but it probably belongs over here too.
If you want a good laugh, while being mildy concerned about the future, watch AmeriGeddon on Prime. It’s a film featuring Alex Jones about an EMP that shuts down the grid before the US Army teams up with the UN to instill Marshall Law.
It’s a low budget film from 2016, filled with poor acting, cheap scenes and some awful jokes, but mildly entertainingly.
Watched dune 2 yesterday.
I liked it.
The wife and i wached the 1st one monday to try and remember what happened.
Then i started with the original dune and only got 30 mimutes it.
I like both of the new dunes but now have a hard time ignoring willy wonka in the desert.
Watched Black Adam yesterday. I’m not really a super hero kinda guy. I enjoyed it. 7/10 probably because it’ll be years until I watch it again
watched last night.
It pretty much felt like watching a well funded conservative kids college film project.
It’s funny because we all know the conspiracy theories and it could almost be believable.
I wonder which major city will be the EMP test case to see how quickly society fails when EBT/snap cards stop working.
Long Island hands down… probably take out some of NJ too… people would go insane.
Way better than the original, it was fun, don’t go in expecting a plotline like Shawshank Redemption and you’ll have a good time. Would watch it again, but I like fight movies, and it’s done much better than the ones I’ve typically seen (Never Back Down, Warrior, and pretty much any Rocky after #2). 9/10
Nice. This was on my list for this weekend if I get time to sit down and watch a movie.
Is that streaming somewhere?
yeah, i wouldnt pay money to see it but i’d have it on in another browser window while i work…
Found it on amazon prime.
So it would surely be on apps like teatv.
Also. Watching this because i miised this years 1 showing in theaters.
Amazon Prime!
Edit - nvm you found it
6/10 - pretty suspenseful but plenty of holes in the plot, didn’t like the ending. Might watch it again in the next 10-20 years
Dune 2 lived up to the hype
Went to see it a 2nd time on Saturday
watched 95% of this so far.
Definitely different than the original. I could have gone without Collins intro scene
