I remember this movie. It was so bad it was actually funny.
Jon Stewart, who was in it, said it’s a cross between Star Wars and the smell of ass and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more accurate synopsis.
Took my dad to see the new F1 movie. Good movie. Not in a rush to see it again but will definitely watch it again in the winter of 2029 when it’s on Netflix.
Long af tho almost 3 god damn hours
Sinners. 3/10. Like if Footloose, Dusk Till Dawn and Django Unchained all had a baby but that baby had an extra chromosome. It only got a 3 because I’m hoping the image of Hailee Steinfeld getting it on with Michael B Jordan gives Josh a little more rage on the football field and is the extra push we need for a Superbowl.
Jurassic World, Rebirth. 2/10. We knew what we were getting with yet another Jurassic movie but unlike the recent Chris Pratt ones that were pretty fun this one was just terrible start to finish.
How to Train Your Dragon (the live action one). 8/10. We are a HTTYD house, probably our favorite animated movie, so we were skeptical of this one but they just did a great job. It was basically a shot for shot remake of the animated one but wow did they do a great job. And we all usually hate live action remakes.
agreed in jurrasic park. shit story line and prob the most unbeleivable sequence ever in the beginning with the candy bar wrapper,
I mean cure heart disease? why not at least go after cancer?
Also, why did the hispanic family from the sailboat even exist? They had zero impact on the plot or the story. They weren’t dino food, despite making some of the DUMBEST decisions of all the characters. Basically they were there to fill the current trope requirement of a minority with superior morals to contrast against the greedy and evil white people.
i havent been able to sit for a movie in quite a while. i look once a month at whats playing in the theatres and there is nothing worth seeing.
better of just watching the older stuff that we already know doesnt suck.
Watching re-runs over and over gets pretty gay
Leave the World Behind
3.3 / 10
Just didn’t thrill me. The young girl was annoying and it didn’t seem like anything led anywhere. Cyber attack / power blackout scenario flic.
i liked it but its full of plot holes. maybe the only thing they got right was how it would start.
Superman (2025): 7/10. It was entertaining. Better than anything Marvel has put out in a while, though that’s a pretty low bar (disclaimer, haven’t seen Fantastic 4 yet).
Mission Impossible, Final Reckoning: 9/10. We both really enjoyed this one and feel they did a great job closing out the series (Both Cruise and the director have said they aren’t doing any more of these). Probably helped that we watched the “13 years in 13 minutes” Mission Impossible recap right before we watched the movie since there are a TON of callbacks to the prior movies we never would have remembered.
Not a movie, but the show Untamed was amazing. 9/10.
I should have watched that video first.
MI was still somewhat entertaining though.
