It was a pretty solid movie overall, but nothing too fantastic about it. I was having a hard time dealing with Michael Sheen as the Lycan after seeing him in Frost/Nixon, lol.

The Wrestler 8/10 - Rourke dominated, Tomei has a smoking body for a 44 y/o, thoroughly entertained.
The Reader 7/10 - Great story, Finnes (sp) is good as per usual. Winslet is unattractive nude. The book did an understandably better job portraying the dichotomy between the woman’s mindset and the boys passion, and how it evolved yet remained the same throughout various types of devestation

Decided to re-watch American Beauty,I saw it when it first came out nearly a decade ago and it has much more meaning at my age now,compared to when I was 13.
This movie is a masterpiece,a must see because its very uplifting and deep,definitely a 9/10,a must see.

One of the best movies I’ve seen in awhile. While certainly not a movie that you would have seen at the dipson, it definitely impresses. From the sensational actors to a strong storyline that keeps you attached to the plot, you can’t go wrong. Don’t go into this movie expecting action and espionage… it has little of either. Check it out.
