gotta have something replace twilight.

Wait, Joe, are you saying American Beauty is bad? Because it’s a great fucking movie.

7 pounds is really good, and really depressing.
yeah, because 50% of the people who posted in that thread were mindless retards. DUH
Awesome movie, nine out of ten thumbs here. He was a little wooden in some scenes, but I won’t look at light switches quite the same way ever again.
Eh, you liked ‘People Under The Stairs’. There’s definitely something to be said about that; that movie was terrible ![]()
The International
9/10
I would have given it a 10/10, but the story fell apart a tiny bit near the end, and I docked it a point. It wasn’t the “best” movie I’ve seen in a while, but it was an awesomely entertaining film that made your hands sweaty the whole time. I kept wiping them off on my girlfriends jeans throughout the entire movie.
Henry Poole is Here 7.8/10 … cool flick… luke wilson stars in it, has a dreadful future and cant escape the power of hope through an image of christ on his house that everyone in the neighborhood deems as a sign from god with healing powers…

Jumpers
9/10
That kid is a good actor! Just sucked in Star Wars.
Awesome, I’m glad to hear it. I want to see this movie, but I was hesitant because I thought it might be kinda crappy. Now I’ll definitely go. ![]()
I’ve always known that I liked Clive Owen, but this movie sealed the deal.
clive owen was good in the bmw films too.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas : 9/10. I’m always blown away by films that depict the actual reality of concentration camps. This movie took it from the perspective of an innocent child that happened to be the son of a nazi officer. The movie was overall very well done, and obviously very depressing. The end gave me ridiculous chills. Worse than the scene from the Band of Brothers episode where they first discovered the concentration camp. It’s not quite a 10/10, only because of the other films of this specific genre that it competes against… such as schindler’s list.
Green Street Hooligans. 8/10. Elijah Wood does a spectacular job at NOT playing a hobbit. He is a journalism major at Harvard who gets expelled for taking the heat of his roommates cocaine possession. He then moves to europe and discovers a world of brutal gang-style fights (european activist gangs, not bloods/crypts) and a lot of beer drinking. Shit gets real hairy and a lot of valuable lessons are learned. This movie gets 8/10 for having a lot of seriously bad-ass fights and a decent (yet semi-predictable) story. It would’ve been better if there were hot chicks to go along with the drinking and fighting. This movie almost has a boondock saints feel to it, without the religious aspect. But that just may be the irish accents, beer, and fights. meh
Dark City. 7/10. It took me 3 tries to watch this movie, only because i kept putting it on when i was already really tired. I was, in fact, extremely interested in this, and will eventually watch it in it’s entirety at some point. It’s really out there in a sci-fi mind bending sort of way. Seems like the kind of film that would attain a decent cult following.
How to Lose Friends & Alienate People: 7/10. Stars Simon Pegg. Megan Fox is pretty hot. It’s a sharp witty style humor regarding the brutal profession of a journalist for the stars. Definitely has a few good laughs, but ultimately ends up being a semi-romantic comedy. not bad, but not great.
^^
I’ve never seen any of those movies, but THIS is a perfect example of how to write a great movie review.
burnt toast how can u not mention that green street is about english football and thats where the gangs stem from. u effing goose!
Yes man. 7.5/10
Liar liar sucked. This movie does not suck. I did a lot of lollin. The guy dressed up as the gremlin-y dude from harry potter ruled.
