The last movie you've seen, and rate it.

OMG. yes. i completely forgot to mention the most important part…

recently watch the movie “London”

it takes place in new york and most of the movie is has Jason Statham (Snatch, The Transporter, Crank) doing insane lines of blow in a bathroom during a loft party while debating the meaning of life with people he’s just met.

I’ll rate it as weird and so-so, but amusing.

Slumdog Millionaire

10/10

After watching this movie, I felt that I’ve been being too liberal with my ratings as of late because there hasn’t been a movie that’s reached amazing movie status like ‘Forest Gump’, ‘Saving Private Ryan’, ‘Snatch’, etc., in so long.

I’m therefore dropping every rating I’ve given in this thread so far by 2 points.

I personally thought that this movie was incredible. Add in the fact that it was created by all independant film directors, and it makes it that much better.

Changling

9/10

Thought it was gonna be a chick flick when the girlfriend put it in but it was actually really good.

Pride and Glory: 8/10
Great corrupt cop movie. Some very intense scenes.

Tropic Thunder: 3/10
There were a few funny parts, but by the end I wanted my time back. I’ve been told by other people it gets funnier as you watch it more. I never liked Anchorman the first time I saw it but now laugh every time I catch it on a movie channel so this one will get a 2nd chance in a few months. Maybe when I’m drunk and my standards are lower.

An American Carol: 4/10
Political satire of Michael Moore. It would have been so much better with less slapstick humor because there was some great and poignant political points that made you think and laugh.

Punisher 2, Warzone: 7/10 *
He’s a badass, out killing bad people. That’s about as deep as the plot gets. Boohoo, he accidentally kills a good guy who was undercover as a bad guy and goes through some deep character introspection, or as deep as introspection can get for a guy who blows people’s heads in half with a shotgun.

  • that 7/10 could have easily been a 2/10 if I wasn’t in the mood for gratuitous violence and simple plots that night.

I am such a No Man.

Death Race: 7/10: I was entertained.

Escape from New York.

This movie is 27 years old and stars a handsome, one eyed kurt russel. It’s fucking awesome. 8/10.

Too bad Escape from L.A. was so terrible. /\

Taken - 8/10 damn good movie from start to end.

this movie fucking rules

last one i watched was zero effect. 8/10, good noir type film, bill pullman does an awesome job as a sketchy ocd’d private eye and ben stiller is great as his assistant. check it out

Watchmen 4/10

would have been a 2 but the Ass and tits raised it 2 points.

FUCK THIS MOVIE!

Pride and Glory
6/10

Acting was good, plot was easy to see through and figure out, ending pissed me off. Edward norton is the fucking man.

Step Brothers 7/10

I was lolling a LOT during this movie, Its still in 2nd to anchorman in quotability

Tropic Thunder 3/10

robert downey jr, was the only funny person in the whole damn movie, and tom cruise dancing at the end.

Other than that, it was boring as shit.

The Russian, I have to admit I often disagree with your ratings. :smash2:

Tropic Thunder was hilarious.

Running Scared. Fuckin awesome movie

7 Pounds - 7.5/10 Sad but very well done. It builds throughout and the end is the best part as it should be.

The Hurt Locker - 6/10 (Iraq Bomb Disposal Unit) Pretty cool. Nothing outstanding but a fun watch.

Quarantine - 6/10 Pretty good and edgy for a horror flick.

Thick As Thieves - 4/10 Worst Morgan Freeman movie I have ever seen. Should have known since he stars with Antonio Banderas (what were you thinking man)

wolfcreek - 4/10

no ending. sucked balls.

Taken - 9.5/10

Definitely a sweet movie with lots of killing.

Grease 2
6/10 because it has motorcycles and my kids like it.

They are not allowed to watch this song though.

Dan In Real Life
IMDB
Torrent - DVD Rip
8/10

Steve Carell steps aside from his usual comedic routines and plays a more serious role in Dan In Real Life. Unfortunately Dane Cook plays a somewhat important role in the movie, so viewers are forced to view his terrible acting. The whole movie is somewhat of a love story, but not the sappy unrealistic, over dramatic type that is the Notebook. It’s a movie guys can watch mainly due to the acting skills of Mr. Carell, and not want to remove their eyes from the sockets. I’d recommend it if the GF or wife wants to watch a movie together.

The Watchmen.

3/10

It deserves a 2, but that chicks boobs bumped it up to a 4, so I took the average and gave it a 3.

Taken, 8/10. Solid Flick.
