:gives: both of those cars are junk

sleds.

Well, the program rules called for all the cars to be crushed or shredded.

If the junkyards are not following the program, that’s GREAT! :bigok:

cars are just cars. If you have any of the cars on the list, your car just went up in value a little bit because it is more rare, you should be happy.

There are more than enough aftermarket companies making every part you could ever need for your car. If you are restoring a car to factory condition, then I could see being a little concerned because the OE parts pool just got a little smaller.

In the grand scheme of things, crushing these cars will have no impact in the automotive world.

I don’t own a fast car but that doesn’t mean I don’t like cars. I just don’t see why people get all worked up when they see a nice car that is wrecked or junked.

And I will stay on this site as long as possible just to piss you off.

well there’s one lightning i’ll never own

I also saw a bunch of cars at Millerstown that said “Clunker.” One of them was an E32 BMW 7 series with a V12. It said “clunker,” and had a sign on the motor that said it was destroyed with liquid glass. So they aren’t crushing all of them…

They have something liek 6 months before they HAVE to be crushed. Until then, a lot of places are putting them in pick-n-pull lots.
