Just an update on the car. Finally got the motor running !!!

Had some problems with coil wiring and with the spark program setup but finally got all the issues fixed. The last problem was that I didnt have the firing order right. Mixed up cylinder 3 & 4 so those cylinders were getting fuel at the wrong stroke cycle

Since Bigstuff 3 doesnt read the optical CAS, setting up the magnetic cam and crank sensors in the program was initially nerve racking but that turned out to work without issue. I am still worried about the correct Dwell time for the coils throughout the rev range. I’m starting with 1.75 ms

Now it on to finishing the rest of the car, drive shaft, axles, dash, windshield, bodywork and paint

Looking for some track time next month . Cant wait !!

That dwell time is plenty safe. I’ve got some good SR dwell table if you need some guidance, just send me a pm.

Yeah I am working on A few of the little things.

new wide band setup
new coils
new sway bars
windows
new heater core,
and the ABS skyline brake master keeps on dropping pedal pressure. this is the second abs brake master and this new one has a disassembly screw so I am hoping to get the rebuild for it.
I am also working on a new rad design and fiber glass ducting for the rad/intercooler and oil cooler.

My dad and I had had some concerns last lapping day that the car was not staying at a comfortable temp so I hope this will help.

other than that we are tuning a little and trying to sneak around the streets and put some load on this girl. she just needs more driving time.

make a v mount setup.

front mounts suck, and steal te cold air that should be going to your rad.

well with a v mount set up air is directed under the car. that is not good for time attack. so the set up I am doing will focus the air in and out and create less turbulent air in the engine bay. but if some one wants a nice v mount I am more than willing to do their car. hhaha
