Time Attack S13

thanks man haha

i wouldnt try ans re invent the wheel with the radiator set up

have you changed your head gasket yet?

Yeah real sick Altezza for sure,

haha I am not re inventing anything. hahah the car is already set up for a top duct everything else is real simple. yeah cosworth head gasket with arp things and what nots all around

was your cooling issue with that ka koyo and ac ran?

are you running coolant? or water with water wetter

ka koyo and water and water wetter. No thermostat and a s14 water pump.

I think the problem now could be that with no thermostat the rad has no chance to cool the water and just gets forced back into a hotter and hotter engine. I should have tested once more with the bigger waterpump but oh well. lets just hope a triple core brass rad will do the trick.

ps I had about 5 hot laps before the 240 degree mark so we are getting a little closer

the no thermostat is your problem for sure

^ Seconded.

Just run a nismo thermostat or something similar that opens earlier. That’s what I run in mine… works fine.

yeah I thought so. I should have tried it again before selling the koyo.

thanks for the input guys

Hey guys and girls,

let me know what you think. this should help with the the cooling I think and I also got a 3 core rad and two ten inch fans. and i put the thermostat back in.

Ey where did you get that intake manifold? made it yourself?

yes my friend Doba made it after him and my dad flow created a few designs in solid works and flow tested them in a CFD program. This design was the best

i always thought you would want the air flowing past your engine…or is that air going to be really hot once it passes through intercooler and radiator and any other cooler you have out front to the point where its more beneficial to divert it?

No these engines dont need air flowing past the block, The rad provides all the cooling.

What I’m trying to do is more air past the rad. I’m hoping that putting a duct on the backside allows the air to flow easier through the rad
