^^ No it started about the shit hole city of Buffalo and how they do nothing but get mad at people who comment on it instead of going out to make it better and drive the working middle class into the city.
While I agree with the sentiment, it seems like open season for the ostentatious references up in herr!
omg I am top 1.546% buffalo income.
Good to see the NYSPeed e-penises haven’t gotten any smaller.
lol, sigh
ILC’s thread about being back did make my real penis grow a little too.
Listen, before I made my first million, I used to make comments like this too, but these days im just too busy not working, and subtly hinting to forums filled mostly with people who already know me and my exaggerated standard of living to even consider the degree of pretentiousness im giving off.
Since we were talking about jobs and income and what type of jobs “made it”…
The idea of NOT working 8-5 is unappealing to me. Don’t get me wrong, I think that it would be totally awesome to sit back and collect checks for one reason or another… but if I am actually going to have to WORK, I want it to be in a structured environment, structured (semi flexible time), structured pay. The only constant in my life (besides unbridled awesomeness ) is my job. I think that without that one piece of structure in my life would really get out of control.
Maybe that’s the type of thinking that will keep me from MAKING IT, but to me making it is maximizing happiness…
Well theres really only one way to actually “make it”
Geez, I thought I was doing well for my age.
Exactly how many of you 20 somethings are personally making 100k or more?
Edit: It is a good thing to compare yourself to your peers. I don’t think of it as “OMG look at how big my kak is!”. It will keep you motivated and will give you an idea of where you should or could be in life.
Lol
I agree. Having a shit ton of money and doing nothing sounds like a cool life but would get really old. I like working and gives me a chance to expand myself on a personal level too and deal with people every day and as you said, my only structure in my life is work each day.
Not me.
I have been looking into changing fields myself. Moving into a position where I would be “Getting Money, and Stacking Papers.” I hear Jay-Z is very good at it and he seems to be doing well.
The insecurity is rampant in this thread.
Ones who try to push how well they are doing are often not doing nearly as well as they would like you to think has been my experience in life.
Not I. Had I finished school I would be, but i made a decision and now I have to live with it. I have a job as an account manager and will make about 75k, with the potential for a decent bonus on top. I had to work my ass off and live pretty poor by my standards for a while to get here. Now the focus will turn to investments to grow my money like numerous others on this board that have it somewhat figured out. I don’t think having a discussion on jobs and money is for growing e cocks, it is a good tool to see what you are doing and where you can be.

I get other people to think I am cool because deep down, I don’t think I am cool.
Pfft you don’t even e-make 100k/yr. Nobody cares pal.
[sarcasm]Money makes me cool[/sarcasm]
Im calling flawed logic on that one sir… so you mean to say that EVERYONE ON THE INTERENT isnt as ballin as they appear to be???
