Traffic ticket in Ontario

I got a ticket for driving up a one way street in Crystal Beach. This ticket consists of a 110 dollar fine and 3 demerit points. There is a reciprocity agreement with Ontario and New York, so if i plead guilty to the ticket i get these points. I have plead not guilty to the ticket and i have a phone interview with the Crown Prosecutor in August. The shitty part about this is, all of my neighbors drive up the street to the Intersection. We are all between 50-200 feet from the intersection. Also, The Officer was waiting for someone (me) to drive up the street. He was there for one day, the day he wrote me the ticket. He hasn’t been back since. I don’t know if he was targeting the me (i still have NY plates on my car)

Has anyone used a service like XCopper? What is the likelihood that the Prosecutor will reduce the ticket to something with no points?

No idea how pleas/reductions work in Ontario. Probably would have been better off putting this in network wide O/T instead of NY Only.
@bing ?

I’ve paid a few tickets in Ontario and it’s never shown up on my record.

Get this plate and they’ll likely leave you alone.

Not going to lie, that is a sweet vanity plate

you can fight it and show up and just ask nicely for no demerits…
