My engine / transmission are out of the engine bay and hanging from a cherry picker, a few inches off the ground. I got all the bolts out in order to seperate the tranny from the engine block, get it about 1/2" away from the block, but I can’t get it off anymore. It seems like it’s stuck or something. All I want to do is get the tranny off so I can put the engine on my engine stand … any suggestions on how to get the tranny off or what I’m doing / did wrong?
is it a auto? if so take out starter and remove the torque convertor bolts
I got it off … silly me forgot to take off the bottom plate that covers the bottom part of the flywheel
