What Grade of fluid should I put in my tranny? I was thinking something synthetic but I was wondering what other people have put in.
Redline MT-90
Yep, that’s what I’ve got in my transmission. And it keeps working even though it is driving the wrong wheels…
LOL
GM synchromesh
Royal Purple Synchromax.
Are all those fluids the correct weight for that transmisssion? Im not sure what is supposed to be in there.
As long as its GL-4 your fine. If it say GL4 and GL5 compatible dont use it.
OKay so I just took a look at the Mopar Synthetic 75W-85 and its GL-4 rated so this would work then? How much is needed?
If its GL4 it should work. I use 3 litres even though the manual say 2.5 or whatever it is.
K, I’m confused GL4 or GL-4?
G L 4
Same shit just don’t use anything that is also GL-5 (GL5) approved. they wear out our brass syncro’s
I have used Gm syncromesh, and royal purple syncromax but i like the MT-90 a little better. It is a little thicker but works a whole lot better when it is warm.
G L 4[/quote]
More confused yet??
GL4 GL-4 its the same.
I am sorry
is GL4 and GL-4 the same ?
cuz i found G-L4 … I am wondering if its the same thing as GL - 4 … or G L-4
so GL-4 ?
