Head lights CHECK!
Should’nt be an issue. I have had the same thing happen to me. Twice. No problem what so ever. That was like 4 years ago, lights still working perfect.
Yeah, that’s fine, you dirt actually won’t hurt the bulbs, because it’s likely to fall off.
Oil, however, whether it be from your hands or another source, is what will kill the bulb.
Better hurry on getting that motor out, that hoist isn’t going to be around much longer once March rolls on in.
Those headlights are going to be terribly offensive to other cars.
Nah, kcuv has HIDs in his Z and they don’t glare at all.
yea they actually work will in the stock z housing
yea, some cars have stock housing that work nicely, I just thought they looked glare-ish from the pic.
Yeah that’s what happens when you take a cell phone pic facing directio into any bright light lol. And Bacon you know I’ll get it out soon no worries, any eta though on how long it’ll be there?
Hooray for Jenna Jamieson!
Starting to come along
It’s a projector with a cutoff stock… why would it glare?
Andy, if you need a hand friday I could probably stop by for a bit.
white Z vs. red Z. coming this summer?
If he brings it to Dunnville
Although I’d recommend adding THIS to your to-do list for the car if you plan on tracking it, Andy.
Most likely until mid-March, I don’t really have a planned date.
Thanks Mike…but when you finally have a chance to check it out, i won’t be able to lol…i’m leaving tomorrow afternoon for Daytona Bike Week and won’t be back until next Sunday…but i’ll definitely take you up on that offer once i get back!
:ohnoes:
That’s the first i’ve ever heard of that problem…i don’t surf TT.net that much just because i really CAN’T STAND the format/layout of the site itself…but that’s a pretty interesting read.
I won’t be all that competitive at Dunville this year since i’ll still be on stock 19 year old suspension lol…and stock brakes…this year all my time and Z funds are going into the build/go fast toys…
But i’d definitely like to give Dunville a go at least once or twice this year…i’ll let ya walk all over me there if you like…and you should make the trip to NYIRP once or twice :eekdance:
Well if you want information and not BS maybe you should brave the “good” forum once in a while
Couple more things came in today too
The previously mentioned new polyurethane motor mounts:
Nismo 555cc Injectors (lame picture i know…but figured i’d post it anyway since they’re here and they’re a crucial part of the build):
And while this isn’t a picture of my driveshaft, this is a pic of a stock Z32 driveshaft i found online for comparison:
The above pictured stock, 2 piece ones weigh in around 30 lbs…my aluminum 1 piece is about 12 lbs :pimp:
Oh…and my new 300ZX calendar for my desk at work
1 piece drive shafts are awesome. good call.
everything looks nice, I like these cars a lot.
keep it up

Andy-going fast is nothing without handling or braking, otherwise you should have just bought an fbod=)
BTW cant wait to see her on the road again
