I’ve got a bunch of turbos around and have managed to put together a turbo from bits of broken turbos.
Any hoo I have heard that unless the spindle, imprellor, and properllor are balanced it will very quickly fail with catastrophic results. I have heard that this proceedure is common but I have yet to find anyone to do it.
