Turbo doesnt seem to be working?

when ever i give it gas u can hear the turbo winding up but the blow of valve never makes a noise, or it doesn’t sound like air being exhausted…

it does however sound all grindy when u run a gear a little long or go over 120km’s in 5th.

(sr, black)

any ideas?

Vacuum lines run right? Is this a new problem? Or just start happening

maybe the fins sheared off of the compressor. Could be possible as i’ve seen it happen on rb’s

I was driving it around and the turbo seems to work fine now… it makes all the proper noise and u can rly feel it… mby it was just dirty? or oldish fuel that i’ve since replaced?

its still doing that grinding thing at high speeds (over 120) it seems to not be getting anymore powerful just louder after 120 and its not a nice sound at all…

also Im tired of my coolant issue i been having (my car doesnt like to actually hold any coolant) I dont even wanna deal with this anymore… i just wanna throw cash at the issue and get it fixed, anyone can suggest a place in hamilton area? im just tired and too cold to even bother looking at it anymore.

Do you have a Cat on your car? it could be plugged

Isn’t this fairly simple and the turbos done… I would sure say thats your problem. The fins have been hitting the inside of the compressor thats the noise you hear. And your using up coolant because your turbo is hot as shit. OR you have a coolant leak which lead to your turbo problems. Either way get a new turbo and make sure you have no coolant leaks.
