To give you an idea on my price range anything up to $1500 preferably not all the way to 1500 but i can prolly do it…

Im looking at both the GT30R and GT35R…why is it that the 35 is rated to 600hp and the 30 only 500? They look practically the same is it because the turbine is bigger? I dont really understand these numbers im looking at so if someone could help it would be appreciated…

and i see the compressor is bigger on the 35 but what do these two numbers mean? thanks for all the help

The Differnce is that the 35R is 8mm bigger. Once you get out of the TO4E etc. turbo’s trim doesnt mattter. Like a sc61 is a 61mm turbo and is good for 680hp but is only a 56trim turbo, and I think a 60-trim to4e is good for only around 600hp.

Good turbo, im either running that turbo on my next setup or a GT47-80

It definatly is the new hotness… you cant beat the sound of a T6 turbo with a 60mm HKS wastegate. To run this turbo I am going to definatly have to re-do a lot of things… one is a Titan race block, HKS 280 cams, upgrade my 1000cc injectors to 1600’s, I will keep my clutch in the car right now, but I know it will not hold 1000rwhp for long… then ill have to break down and get a tilton clutch… basically a clone of JP’s car, but hey… that setup works. I dont care if I dont drive my car for over a year from now… I only want to do it once and I want to do it right.
