that sucks, I always thought your car was red for some reason…
Buy my car…it’s clean! You can convert it back to an ATX if you want to:)
what in the fuck, this is messed up… Ill have to stop by and take a look tomorrow…
^^^ wtf u talkin about ?
Burn mother fucker.
Burn.
Sorry to hear about the car, all the best with making insuance money on it…if that’s the road you follow with it.
I have a $500 deductable so I need to check out the damage before I go that route but keeping in mind the car has 232K on it it isn’t going to be worth much on paper so it wouldent take mch for them to total the car. i’m guessing around 1500 or less book in good condition. I don’t think insurance will car about mods.
Excellent $2,365
Good $2,040
Fair $1,625
and i can totaly argue fair condition on that car too
so that puts $1500 in your pocket, and you can probably buy the car back off them for $250, so $1250
they might care about the mods, because it was one of the mods that started the fire.
he would only make 250 dollars
$1500 for the car
-500 for deductible
$1000
-250 for the car
then the 750 minus the 500 that came out of his pocket is 250.
you fucking suck at math
2000 value - because the car does fit the good condition catagory
-500 deductable
-250 buy back
=1250
its a sign saying to give up on this car
^^^agreed
i miss understood your post…i thought you said fair condition…i didnt realize you subtracted the 500 from 2000. sooo in that case get the stick out of your ass.
woops, i did sai we could argu fair condition- i ment to say good - but you still did subtract the $500 twice
1650 would come down to 950 if they rated it fair condition
Insurance won’t give you close to $1500 on a 15 year old car with 232k on it.
On the contrary, I’ve seen guys with 91-92 MR2’s with that kind of mileage pull in 3-4 grand still from insurance companies. But it’s a rare car, and in a totally different class, so I’m comparing apples to oranges, I’m aware…
ive agrued blue book many many times before, i always get my way
so lets see, its got 232k miles on it, rebuilt trans, one rip in the rear seat, rebuilt trans, all the preventitive maintenance the sho requires, no leaks, good tires, no dents bigger then a door ding, a few small spots of surface rust, all the options except the top end stereo, clean interior.
the car looks like it has 1/2 as many miles on it then it really does, and thats the key in getting top dollar
wow that sucks sorry
I’ve yet to see a 1st/2nd gen SHO with decent interior around here, so if its as clean as it sounds I don’t think you will have a problem getting “Good” value. Besides the motor having 232K miles, but that Yamaha motor is good for at least 250K.
Good luck.
