What is the point of comparing who is more evil? They are all evil that is all you need to know. lol
I had a guy interview that put Netgear and Linksys on his resume.
I would hope Google owned Google Fiber. That would have been an awkward press release.
Lol might be ok if you’re applying for best buy…consumer networking equipment really aren’t found in the business environment …I hope.

Comcast Corp., the largest cable company in the U.S., is moving to combine with its chief rival, Time Warner Inc., the second largest cable company in the U.S. Because the deal would further consolidate the telecommunications industry, it is likely to face scrutiny from federal officials — possibly from an antitrust perspective at the Department of Justice, but more likely from a public interest perspective at the Federal Communications Commission. Comcast has been among the top corporate donors to members of Congress, and following the money shows that they have been focusing their giving on members of the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, which has jurisdiction over the Federal Communications Commission.
- House members of the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology received $853,525 from Comcast from January 1, 2001 - December 31, 2012.
- Contributions from Comcast to House members serving in the 109th, 110th, 111th and 112th Congresses total $6,678,446 from January 1, 2001 - December 31, 2012.
- Representative Greg Walden, R-Ore., Chairman of the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology has received $53,000 from Comcast from January 1, 2001 - December 31, 2012.
- Representative John Dingell, D-Mich., has received $100,775 from Comcast from January 1, 2001 - December 31, 2012 more than any other member of the House of Representatives. He is a member of the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology.
The amount of things Congress people are allowed to do while overseeing national policy and law decisions just blows my mind. We don’t have the violence but we have to be as corrupt as governments being controlled by cartels and other large illegal empires with all the donations and payments made to our policy makers. They just call our cartels “corporations”. It sounds better.
But you guys already knew this.
When is Obama taking over this industry?
His third term

You live in the city?
Make sure you run a VPN.
Yep, my house is within Raleigh city limits. A lot of the neighborhoods within city limits are more suburban than city-like.
nice piece from the other day… pretty much what you guys are saying here though.
you guys see the news from today about Netflix paying Comcast for direct access and faster speeds?
This is bad for everyone on the internet
I did hear about them throttling FiOS speeds due to a disagreement in bandwidth usage. . .grrrr
