Does any sponsors do undercoating? Im looking to get my truck done before winter. Figure I would check first before going to Ziebart etc.
Its a 2000 Silverado Ext Cab Shortbed.
honestly i would avoid undercoat. i personally do not like it. i think it promotes rust from my experience.
There is a local guy in Butler that does a very clean good job, the name of the place is Elliots car care. I dont know where you are located but In my opinion Rust proofing is almost a must aroung this area if you drive your vehicle in winter and plan on keeping it a long time. I am in the collision repair industry and although rust proofing is a painter’s nightmare, I have seen very very clean cars that have been in this area the whole life of the vehicle that were professionally rust proofed, and other vehicles of the same year that were not rustproofed and the difference is unbelievable.

i use to work at ziebart undercoating its not bad stuff as long as they clean and try the underside u should have no problem i wouldn’t rust proof cause that stuff
gets all over everything and i don’t like the idea of them drilling holes
