Actually, I was just wondering if there was an update on the coils and if the setup was actually working for you now.
Yeah, did you get the problems sorted out? If so, how’s it running?
Coils arrived today, i am going to install them as soon as i get home… so i should have an update later tonight
Put the coils in tonight, car started/idled jus perfect… went for a drive and its like stock but with more power…
my stock clutch is still slipping, so its hard to feel just how much power it has, but it defeintly has more torque, i can feel that just by driving around
A+ for driveability…

Well atleast you got it running properly, how big of a procedure is changing the clutch?
same as any other RWD car…
drop exhaust/drive shaft… undo 12 bolts… pull trans off and repeat…
i have an extra 2-3 steps because its SMG, but most of it is pretty simple…
just gotta see how high i can get the car off the ground to get the trans out

I was in my explorer…was gonna pull up next to you but figured u wouldnt recognize the truck
When we pulled my brother’s tranny in my garage we got it just high enough so that the tallest part of the tranny would fit inside the wheel well.
I don’t think you’re going to have to do that though.

Just took evolve out for a ride… car performed fine…
Winter tires dont hook up at all in 1st gear roll though… car was pretty much sideways

ish… not really… but its hard to tell if its the tires slipping or my clutch… (the snow tires dont squeel, so its hard to tell)
You should easily be able to turn the snow tires in first and second gear, otherwise you are not anywhere near the 400/400 mark. Granted the clutch is the suck, but still
