Well first of all I didn’t get lippy until someone got lippy with me. It’s a very simple concept. As for you not believing I worked for GM, that’s not my concern. Believe what you want but FYI, Delphi employs 1400 in Rochester and we absorbed the Coopersville, Michigan fuel injection plant during my very brief stint with them. If you want to get technical and say Delphi is no longer owned by GM, you are correct but I doubt you know that much about it anyways. 95% of our product is sold to GM. All FI systems in GM cars were made by us except for Cadillac and Corvette, both of which ARE divisions of GM, whether you also want to believe that is of no importance.
So as we were saying, I think the only alum/alloy I6 to be had without spending some large sum of money would be from the BMW Z3. That’s what I will be keeping my eye out for and thank you to the few people that actually took me seriously.
