just a fyi-- vw owns Bentley. the vw phaeton is a d1 platform (steel body). the d1 platform is the vw and the bentley continental. It also shares suspension parts w/ the d3 platform-- which is the audi a8 (all aluminium body)
Sadly, the vw is probably the best used luxury car you could get for under 20k-- even as low as 10k i seen them for.
question:
right behind my cat is rotted and leaking. Does the piece go from the header to muffler in one piece or is there a slip joint behind the cat that i cant see because of the rott?
The peice that goes to the rear of the converter is a slip fit with a band clamp. You can find tons of info on www.vwvortex.com and I buy most of my vw parts from www.germanautoparts.com
