i just used Joe McCoy in east greenbush for my last ticket. i was doing 50something in a 30. He knocked it down to parking, zero points. i paid $380 total and all i had to do was make a call, fax my ticket and drop off a check 2 weeks later. his number is 229-7100
Gland cops let me go every time they pull me over, they’ve never had a tough guy attitude with me when they approached my window either always just ask me alot of questions about what im doing usually. Maybe I just have good luck idk the only trooper to ever let me go was in gland also. I hear they’re dicks alot and I’ve read they’re loose with the tazer but id rather get pulled over there than colonie or nisky or rotterdam and day

Yup no problems with Guilderland here either. I got pulled over by one on western for going close to 60 trying to catch up to a friend. He came to my window got my info and noticed the Alta ski area hoodie I was wearing told me about how him and some buddies were going out there in a few weeks. He ran my info came back we talked skiing a bit more and he let me go.
There was a cop in Bethlehem by the name of Officer Vunk that was notorious for ticketing anyone and everyone. A guy I work with knows a State Sergeant who got a ticket while on his bike and had the bike impounded by the guy due to improper equipment or something…
He spent his last 2 weeks before retiring on desk duty due to that incident.
It was so bad that if someone got stopped around here, we would ask, “Did you get Vunked?”
As for me, going with this Bob Law guy for $300. Heran, due to her slow/lack of response just lost out on $300. I’m sure for a popular lawyer, though, that’s pocket change.
speaking of pocket change…i called up the guy who took care of my ticket about 6 weeks after i gave him a check asking if there was a problem with my check because he never cashed it. He just responded, “no problem, i have a whole stack of checks here i still need to cash, i’ve just been busy”. if it was me that $380 would be in the bank the same day lol, i wonder how much he has piled up there
+1 for Guilderland. I’ve never been pulled over by one, but every interaction such as being in the department for finger printing (pistol permit), calling for bullshit around here, etc… They’ve all been cool.

The first Gland cop I ever got pulled over by I never mentioned my dad was a cop, then gave me shit at court for not telling him, I told him I dident want to be direspectful
Every other one I told my dad was a cop they gave me shit and dident give two fucks, it took a call to the ADA to get them dropped
Needless to say, I had a brief year or two where I got pulled over a lot for a few speeding and dumb front plate/inspection tickets because I was always driving POS cars…
Been almost 2 years and not a single ticket, jesus its nice not having to worry about it
I know cops. I don’t speed. Jeanne Horan is my Lawyer and she rocks. I send her business and she has done the same for me.
