Wedding Thread

that’s going to be beautiful! good choice!

lol yeah … I got shitfaced drunk at that wedding. At some point we had like 20+ shots of soco lime lined up. Someone went back for dinner/drinks the next night (place is a restaurant in that area) and was talking to the bartenders. They ended up taking a net loss on booze for that wedding since the open bar was a flat rate per person lol.

My wedding was a blast and was on the best day in October - October 8th 2011, it was 75 degrees out.

Again, it was a blast!!!

details? would you recommend anyone? stay away from anyone??

Reception - Sean Patricks (by Geico) - great pricing and awesome food - http://www.spatricks.com/
Saks Photography - top notch and great product (we love our album) but pricey. In conclusion, you get what you pay for - http://www.saksphotography.com/index2.php
S&S - Did not like
Jewelry - Scanlon Jewlers - highly recommend - made me a custom set

^Small wedding? Sean Patrick’s doesn’t seem like it’d hold a whole lotta people from what I remember. It is a nice place though.

S&S was your limo i’m assuming??

Like I said before, we are going with Giorgios. I heard good things thus far-- anyone use them before or heard any reviews from others??

I had 250 in there. Plenty of room and the dance floor was hopping.

Yep, outside of limo was dirty, AC didnt work well, and few other small minor things - not wort the money

Limos are played. Buffalo Trolley is where it’s at.

Yes! Or just a bus. We got a for a limo for a wine trail tour, big e and I had to crawl to get to our seats. We had a awesome bus for dos jotas bachelor party, that was really fun. Nothing like mixing a drink, standing up, while you rake a turn haha

I just need to get guests from the venue back to the hotel, so a bus might be too much. The wedding party is only 6 people including me and the fiancee. Who’s got da hookup

buhhhhhhhh

Had it at Avanti everything went great everyone loved the food…

From day 1 till the wedding staff always responded quickly and everything went off no issues.

COngrats! Love the colors. Got mine 6 weeks from today.

Save more of both and don’t get married at all. When they say wedding cake is the best form if birth control, they’re not kidding.

My wife’s uncle offered to take care of the limo. My fault for forgetting he worked for Amigone. Powder blue went well with our formal wear. Thanks uncle.

Eh the cake isn’t bad. Now having a kid on the other hand. FAIL

Good to see you had a nice day for it. My wife and I had the same setting for ours and couldn’t have asked for better weather. Definitely a nice venue.

Anyone recommend a wedding cake baker? Don’t need anything super lavish, we are also having a dessert bar, just a nice classic looking cake.

Honestly, I recommend that people just go out to Vegas and get married then come back and have a party. So much easier. I am one year away from my wedding and it has been a shitload of planning so far.

Having the wedding and reception at Gregor’s Grove in West Seneca right near our house. Nice place, not real formal like some of the other places we checked out. Nice and comfortable.

Sweet Beginnings bakery on Delaware Ave. They made us an outstanding cake (half red velvet and half fun fetti). They are cousins of my best man, but we had sampled enough of their stuff previously to know how good it already was. I definitely suggest you check them out: http://sweetbeginningsbakery.com/
