It doesn’t effect me but I was listening to a radio show this morning talking about it and there were interesting arguments for both sides so I am curious what we of the Speed think.
Hey, I never smoked a day in my life. Never will. Fatty foods aren’t as damaging as cigarettes. Moderation, exercise, etc. They offer alternatives like fat free, etc. Cigrattes have one option, not healthy and unhealthy. You can at least reverse the effects of unhealthy living. You can’t regenerate a lung.

“If you’re going to start to eliminate things and take things out, then what next?” Marsha Strell questioned. “They got rid of cigarettes, maybe they’ll get rid of beer.”
While cancer prevention expert James Marshall said that’s a valid point, he says research shows that cigarettes kill many more people.
“Think about three large aircraft liners crashing every single day of the year,” Marshall said. “That’s tobacco’s toll. Alcohol is not even close to that.”

Alcohol is a hell of a lot more dangerous to your body (long term) than nicotine. Nicotine doesn’t tear apart families either.
I am pretty much of the opinion that its their store and they can sell/not sell whatever brand/products they want.
I think its a bold move but could yield positive results. I wonder if it will create any sort of initiative like PA and other states that have “Beer Stores”, maybe NY will have “Cig Stores”
I will never step foot into a Wegman’s ever again. Plus the fucking tiles they have on their floor causes my cart to shake and vibrate thus causing my hands to fall asleep while shopping. :rolljerk:
Hey, that’s their choice. I know a lot of smokers, and I know fat people. I’m not saying its good to be fat, but like I said, you can exercise and lose weight, but can’t rebuild your lungs.
I’m glad they make smokers go outside or to designated areas at bars and restaurants. I hated smelling like shit when I came home. Now I can enjoy bars and actually taste my food
