Stuck in the 170’s, stuck in the 160’s would be a lot better so I wouldn’t have to be so close to my weight limit of 175 all the time…which actually might end up being 170.
Either way still positive, mid-feb last year, 226, 28% body fat, now 170 hovering in the low 20%'s high teens.
Now that I’ve started planning my meals a bit better than the holiday free-for-all the weight has started trending down again.
I find the key to eating out is to not eat everything on the plate, use the left overs for lunch :)…that is really hard to do for the little fat kid mindset inside of me who loves the world of food, not sure how I got so passionate about the flavors, but its all so good to me.
eat ALL the lean meats, and vegetables you can get your hands on… it’s the sauces, starches and deserts that will screw your eating habits up. eating half your meal, bagging it, and eating the rest a few hours later also helps, splits the meal up and helps your metabolism. two 500 calorie meals is far better than hitting your system with 1000 calories at once.
still fat. tho by replacing the majority of my meals with healthy meals, when I do eat like shit, my body can handle it much better so the weight dosent pile on.
I’m bouncing inbetween minus 24 and minus 30 from my start.
I’m giving this a go. He argues that we’re not evolved to eat grains and all sorts of problems can be avoided by ditching grains. There’s a lot more to it than that, but that’s the 30,000 foot overview.
The podcasts are informative and entertaining as hell. Give them a shot.
After pictures will be available when I am done losing weight. Still far from skinny. Probably have another 30+ pounds I could lose.
Down 10" waist, 4" neck, 10" chest. Lots of money spent on work cloths in the past 7 months.
Well congratulations. I always think it says something about ones character when they are able to see through a large task of any type, such as losing that much weight.
Can’t say it much better…
about 18 months ago I was my worst of 248 and now I am at 205, Just cleaned up my eating habits and now finally started working out regularly within the past few months.
As for carbs, it’s not carbs that hurt you, it’s having large amounts of carbs from grains. Drink lots of water and 2-4 cups of green tea a day helps unless you take a supplement with green tea extract. (however I do both)
I also have 2 egg omelets for breakfest almost every day with a little feta, gr pepper, onions, and spinach.
I’m currently working out 6 days a week via Power90 (program before p90x) and I have seen good results. Down 18 pounds in 7 weeks.
