went out for a C6 vette

nice, seams like everyone has a c6 vette these days.

Nice. Welcome to VetteYspeed.

It’s hard to explain it sounds like a quiet after market exhaust.

Not loud enough to attract cops or piss off your neighbors not to mention with the mild2wild you can completely close it and it dead quiet.

Nice grab, Aaron.

Why not get the remote that allows you to open the stock exhaust valves any time you want…sounds good 24/7
This would be my first mod

That is what we have been discussing

You need NPP exhaust which is the exhaust with the valve in it and on a stock car it opens at 3500 rpm with the mild2wild switch you can open it whenever

I need to look into an exhaust setup like this for the GTO. I got sick of my aftermarket one because I DD it but there are times when I really miss it.

I only heard it at idle, even then it sounded sweet. One of these days I expect to see rubber on the road though.

I believe those valves came standard on 08+ correct.

JayS, why not just get a cutout with remote and have it welded in after the cat

 looks good.

Gah base exhaust owns me, I would be all over that mild2wild. Don’t know why they didn’t make NPP standard on the Z51.

You should put Atomic Orange wheels on it.

How much were the C6 Vettes when they came out? It’s awesome that you can get one with that low mileage, where as its’ basically new, but a fraction of what the original buyer paid.

Before you do anything else do this

Did it this morning and its a huge difference

^ I change that every time I change my oil.

LOL Every 6 launches???

That’s not really a fix…

Will have to check that out. I learned to drive stick on my C6 back in 2005. I bet it’s ugly.

Well the guy who made the video holds the records for fastest stock C6 Z06 and a number of other cars because he drives the shit out of them…and manages not to break parts also.

Obviously if you’re not racing you don’t need to change it that often but a lot of people do it once a month it only takes 15-20min.

Didn’t know his back story, but looked relatively easy to change. Less than 15 if you have all the supplies ready to go

I actually changed my clutch fluid last night… I had to do it 3 times before it looked clean.
