Holy crap, thats huge. :whip:
lol forgot about the owner fuckups. Should of known…
I calibrated mine immediately, best thing i ever did.
its a toss up i guess, i watch the same stuff as you it seems. i have one big window, i shut the blinds usually, but there is some glare, i agree there. Thats the thing my father is worried about, i dunno, its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, i mean look at crt TV’s, glare up the ass and nobody ever bitched.
One major thing also to consider when purchasing a TV Dawn isn’t the biggest picture.
Write down on a piece of paper what your price limit is. Remember too that tax comes into play so factor in 100-200 on tax depending on your price limit.
Then remember also that DirectTV/Time Warner/etc. all broadcast at 1080i/720p so maybe you would be better off getting something with 720p not 1080p to save some $.
I have a 42" Sharp Aquos LCD and I absolutely love it. However, right now it’s in my bedroom and sits 5 feet away from my bed, so right now it’s a little bit too large until I can get a new place and put it in the living room.
42" 1080p Westinghouse LCd it is pretty nice, I know it is not perfect but my room and budget isn’t feasible just yet for a 73" mitsubishi DLP
shitty pic…
60" HITACHI
Here’s mine ;):
18’ x 10’
and the “compact” 4000 x 2000 ultra hi-res projector:
6 mil system and watching rattitulie. (or w.e)
I wish…COD4 on that thing…omgorz
Living room: 42" Sony 3LCD Projection (KDF-E42A10)
Pro: Good picture
Cons: only 1 HDMI port
Bedroom: 32" Emprex (no name decent quality) flat panel LCD
Pros: Cheap (sub 500) and decent picture
Con: Not as good as more expensive sets
How big is the room this is in?
I have a large living room… and I can’t see very well, so I’m looking to go big. TVs don’t grow.
Right now I have a 60" and it is fine, but I wouldn’t mind going a touch bigger.
