What car should I buy?!?!?

and very European!

bro, you work hard, time for a nice toy…

You need something baller to match that crazy house you live in. Go buy yourself whatever you want, fuck practicality.

LR3 + C6 S6 /thread

walker, please decode line 1

land rover and an audi s6?

You don’t buy an RS4 to mod it and I’d say the carbon comment is a bit of an over exaggeration. The issues that the FSI 4.2 suffer from in relation to carbon build up, are not unique to that engine, and are a byproduct of the direct injection design. Its an issue, and requires regular upkeep. You should also add the DRC to the list while you’re add it for annoying failures. An amazing car, with some annoying (but hardly life threatening) issues.

if baller_status >=1
buy=LR3+C6_s6;
else
buy=honda;
end;

So he can drive it as little as you drive your Supra? :poke:

X…

Lots of good input from everyone, you are making it harder to decide.lol
I am getting this feeling that I may buy something we haven’t even discussed. I don’t know what or why it is just a feeling. :gotme:

I am experiencing “paralysis by analysis”. The more I think, the harder the decision is. lol

Panamera?

^Too much money, I think.

Is it possible to put a CTSV motor in an AWD Caddy? :slight_smile:

Cost of cleaning? Is there a fix like chrome plating or something so it doesn’t stick or whatever?

So I did quite a bit of reading on the FSI problem Jason mentioned and holy cow I would not buy any VAG FSI car. I kept expecting to find a cure/fix but Audi has pretty much denied the problem which completely sucks. I realllly wanted the RS4 at Sutherland but not now. To me this is a HUGE failure in North America for Audi. If it was a problem after 20000 miles it wouldn’t be so bad but it seems it happens after just a few hundred miles. The RS4 carfax I ran for the Sutherland car said it was a buy-back after just 479 miles and it looks like Audi held onto the car for 16000 miles and replaced the intake twice and did a bunch of other stuff like coilpacks and spark plugs to get it right.
There are some short term fixes like cleaning all of the valves, etc but no real fixes. Some of the posts I read were old so maybe I missed the cure but…

Oh cmon, you only lose 1hp per 1000 miles. Just don’t keep it and put 200k on the thing, otherwise Geo Specks are going to be putting a hurt on ya.

Yeah right?
It is more than 1/1000 from what I have found though. Sometimes it is 24/800!!! Supposedly it is the dirty N.A. fuel and oil. Whatever the reason, Audi should have anticipated it and come up with a prevention. They are in da nile and I don’t mean the river. Toyota at least has an additional injector to help keep it clean.

Right now I feel like I shouldn’t buy an Audi, those bastards. Even if I do, I need to find out which ones are not FSI.

if you looked at the Raptor why not the X6M? it seems like a good time for an SUV

Yeah, I just decided I can’t afford to spend that much. I am trying to stay in the mid $30s now which sucks because the low 40s opens up many more cars. lol
