Tore down most of my garage and got it packed up in prep to move. Essentially doing that to the whole house. Get the keys to the new place on March 1, and the big move is on the 10th.
Nothing for the next week or so, in NYC until next w/e…
Alternator decided to shit the bed on my way out to the Northtowns late last night. Replaced it this morning before going to work. Up at 7 am, breakfast, replaced alternator/belt, shower, and into work by 8:45.
Impressive.
Took the Audi off the jackstands, tossed some fuel in and put the battery back in. After 6 months of sitting around it fired first crank. Now it just needs to get picked up by its new owner.

Replaced all the incandescent interior lights in the Murano with LED versions. 7 bulbs total (2 front doors, 2 front dome, 1 rear dome, 2 rear reading lights and 2 rear hatch). It gave the interior a nice modern look for 15 minutes work and <$40.
JayS where did you get the bulbs? I am looking to change over all the 12v lighting in my fathers boat to LED. I have seen them all over but figured you would have done your research.
Snow tires came off today…still wondering why I ever put them on.
I did zero research. Bought them as a kit from some random seller on eBay. I’ll let you know if they start failing right off.

Removed my winter rims/tires from the GTO, cleaned them all up and put them in the storage rack. Summer rims/tires on.
Modified my daughter’s Power Wheels Mustang from it’s stock 12 volts to 18 volts.

Swapped winter wheels for summers yesterday, removed the god awful tow hitch that had welded itself with rust to the car, cleaned it and we are ready for spring!
