Worked on a 68 Shelby GT500 yesterday. Going to be an amazing car when it’s all done!
swapped out stock seats for recaros… upgrade!!
Removed coil packs from cylinder 1 and 3 and replaced them with ebay coil packs for $115 Cheaper a piece than what Advancedauto wanted. Car is still throwing 1 code after the misfiring it originally had. The code is P1506 which is “Air Idle Overspeed Error” Only thing I was told to do was Spray the Throttle body. I am also going to run Seafoam by pouring it in the Gas tank with a full tank of gas. This Taurus blows and sat for a little while, so I’m sure it will all help.
just got done putting my heads on my big inch windsor and setting my valve lash
Stayed out in the cold till 1am rewiring my new 180sx Kouki tail lights ( stupid me thinking they were just going to plug in) HA! Turned out to be a simple job just time consuming however they’re in and look great! Next on my “To Do List” is install some brand new carpet I have laying out in my basement…lol
They still make parts for those? I kid.
Blown turbo seals & other unknown engine damage (haven’t torn it down yet), fun times.
Threw some new pads and rotors up front on my buddy’s 2000 Mustang.
Dan did you guys do that at Nissan dealer ship?
figured out i need an O2 sensor on my OBD1 car… yeah we’ll see if that actually happens. parts to be ordered soon include: sway bar links, and probably the O2 sensor lol
i scuffed up the front lip on my G35 on saturday at my parent’s house and redid did it the next afternoon. it doesnt look great but mostly just because i didnt prep it for shit… can’t tell from standing though.
i’ll do a better job and spend more time the next time i have to do it
I ordered new head light sockets for the Jizm so now I can get out to the garage and fix the damn thing.
Yep, it’s the owner’s son’s car. Well, one of the 4 he has. Lucky bastard.
I played with some Legos today.
Tightened the exhaust hangers on the Esprit last night before taking it out to TLC…ran great…
hammercoupling
new washer nozzles on the s14 and new wiper blades on the G… that count as wrenching even though it was all bare handed?
Nothing, it’s great.
Yup same here. Most wrenching I have done in months has been building my new bike last week
rear caliper, rotor and pads on a trail blazer. so ghey.
