buy a weld in cage, that thing looks like its more for show then being functional.

why spend money on a cage when u need to cut at least 1.5 seconds off ur times to even need a cage.

I can see those bolts breaking off in a crash and you’ll end up having long metal spear shaped bars flying throughout the cabin. That can’t be good for the passengers. Forget you ever saw this cage.

I think Bryans car could easily run under 11.5 if all goes well, hence the cage would be necessary to run at any strip. Blowing things up can easily happen on these builds so might be awhile before you need a cage. I would just schedule a time for G-Force to weld you a cage, and maybe by that time you will really need it.

A little OT, but if 17psi is peak efficiency, and you’re going to be running at 23-26psi, why not get a bigger turbo? Granted now you have an egt and 3-inch exhaust, but that is not going to make the missing 200whp you are looking for…

If you want I could put you in contact with someone who does certified cages at a very resonable price in DOM or mild steel

actually 17-23 is all within the inner circle… 26 is just barley outside it

i also got a new intake manifold/TB combination based on teh magnus one which has been netting you DSM guys close to 40whp… i dont think mine will be that extreme but we shall see… than over winter im porting the head and installing some new cams as well to get this thing breathing over 4k rpm
