I beleve it is to each person, I have ran a KADE as well as my SR now and I will never say they are better then somthing els. When it comes down to it what ever is better for your driving style, Budjet, Wants and needs is the best motor for you. I have debated many times switching to a ca or Kat. Not because I do not like my SR. hell it pulls great. but just to try something different.

i couldnt agree more!!! this is what i tell my friends all the time (The sr fits my! driving style ) so stop trying to get me to go with the ka-t:{ i personally trust the sr more than the ka but maybe im just bias cause i have one. sure the ka has more torque but the sr has more top end.
All of my friends also have these giant (t3/t4) turbos but i just love the response of my little t28"D (maybe ill get a gt30r in the summer)
Ka-t = 12.97 1/4 mile at 119 (built+ MANY upgrades+15psi) tires255/40/r18
Sr20= 13.08 1/4 mile at 107 ( s14 t28 fmic +15psi) tires 235/40/r17
EVERYTHING else is stock

A built RB25 NEO will give you more the enough HP to use in Ontario… unless your car came with a 26’ then dumping one in a car is just spending more money then you utilize eg: waste of money… ( personal opinion of course )
The RB25 can be built to an easy, single turbo, 500hp.

I think an SR20 or KA-T putting out around 200-250rwhp is a perfect setup.
It’s all in how it drives.
I had my reasons for choosing KA-T, but realistically i’d rock either.
i totally agree :D… can’t beat having a 1.3 13b REW and pushing 255hp and 217 lbs of torque… (at least i think those are the numbers in th FD)…
2JZ<— a supra engine in a 240 and its OVER!
-its a cost effective swap (around the price of a sr20 swap, if not then only $1000-$2000 more)
-endless tuning options
-good for 900HP on a stock bottom end
-it’s a MOT approved motor

SR20 for me… few months
I am quite impressed and happy with my SR nothing but good so far but that dosen’t mean i wouldn’t like a KA-T i just have never been in one… but i agreee with darkforcejackle as long as you like it and its setup good who cares? lol
